Recently I posted about glo  decreasing there data plan , they have reacted and gave a reason for the cause. One glo subscriber asked a question at there twitter handler, see screen shot below Glo subscriber question: @GloWorld can you people give me a very good reason why you reduce your data from 3GB to 1.4GB for 1000 one month. Glo Answered saying: Hello, "data caps" has not been reduced. Subscriber who does not resubscribe 3 days after data expiration will get half the plan TT So, this actually means if you activate any subscription, you should always try to reactivate it before 3days to the expiration date of that data plan in order to get Glo old data plan otherwise, your data subscription will be half. Autorenewing will certainly be of help in reactivating data plan immediately it expires.  To activate autorenewal so as not to get the new data rate, send ACCEPT to 127 and your subscription of 1,000naira will always give you 3.2GB as usual. Glo has greatly reduced there data plan, its sad to hear. Recall that glo was known as the grand master of data, now its no longer the same. Airtel has followed suit to introduce there 4G LTE in Nigeria, this is happening after Etisalat , Glo and  Mtn has introduced there's. The Managing Director, Airtel Nigeria, Mr Segun Ogunsanya, said on Saturday that the telecommunication company partnered with ZTE, a Chinese multinational telecommunications equipment/systems company to launch or roll out 4G (fourth generation) wireless mobile telecommunications technology in Nigeria. Even in 2012, Airtel was the first telecommunications operator company in Nigeria to complete a successful 4G trial in Lagos. He said this is in line with the company commitment to explore innovation and lead a mobile internet revolution in Nigeria.  Let's hope we get a good 4G data plan and a good 4G signal.

Once upon a time, Instagram was just for sharing photos, mostly of food.  But over the past year or so, the app greatly expanded in functionality. Live streaming is now supported , multi-photo posts have been added, and the  app now has Snapchat-like disappearing photos and videos. Back in August, Instagram cloned Snapchat's 'Stories' feature, allowing users to post short snippets of their activity that disappear after 24 hours. In a post about new stickers, Instagram revealed that over 200 million people use the Stories feature every day. Engadget pointed out that Snapchat only reported 158 million users in its IPO filing in February, meaning Instagram Stories has more active users than Snapchat. This should be good news for both Instagram and Snapchat users. Instagram Direct was added a while back to allow you to have conversations with other Instagram users in a more private setting.  Now, Instagram is adding some features you're probably familiar with from Snapchat—you can send images and videos that self-destruct after being viewed. Regular photos can still be sent as well, though. To send disappearing messages, simply swipe over to direct from feed and tap the blue camera icon. Then, snap a photo or record a video.
