How To Stop Auto Renewal Of Data On Mtn, Glo, Etisalat, And Airtel

I'm sure many of you have fallen a victim of your Network provider auto renewing your data without your permission to do so. It's so annoying and some network provider didn't give a code or sms short code to opt out from auto renewals of data.

On , June 6, 2016, Anonymous said   he subscribed for Glo daily subscription just to test how strong their network is in my location, though their network is ok in my area. After exhausting the data allocated, within 5secs, i got a text from Glo saying that my data has been automatically renewed. I was like, "What!!!".

Anytime you subscribed to a data bundle, always remember to opt out from auto renewal so to avoid immediate zapping of airtime when recharged or when there is airtime on the sim.

Code to stop or deactivate auto renewal on MTN data bundle plan, text NO to 131

Glo data bundle plan 

text CANCEL to 127 

Code to stop or deactivate auto-renewal on Airtel data bundle plan, text STOPAUTORENEW to 440 

Code to stop or deactivate automatic renewal on Etisalat data bundle plan, text STOP to 229.
