Airtel free surf works after you have used up to 160MB. After that you won't be giving any MB to browse. 

So how does it works?
After using up to 160Mb data, and you have some airtime, Airtel would reduce your browsing rate from N1/MB to 20Kobo/MB.


Enjoy the convenience of pay as you go at a bundle rate. FREE Surf offers reduced browsing rate on usage and gives up to 160mb bonus data when you use up to 160MB. Browsing rate starts from 1kobo per KB. Billing starts from N1/MB and up to 20Kobo/MB.

Note: After you finish your main data, and you have airtime you would start to browse at N20 kobo/MB


How do I opt in? 

To opt in, simply dial *400# on your screen you would see a welcome text to Airtel free surf.


If you are not the type that browse with mb or may be you don't have much bucks to buy a monthly plan, this free surf would help out.

How can I opt out?

how to deactivate airtel free surf on your sim card seems to be difficult but today i need to help our nigerians because this has vanish the maximum customers/subscribers who fall a victim of going free surf on airtel, some guys says this plan is useless to them, instead of gain they are lossing enough airtime, thanks God we find the hidden de-activation code USSD today.
