Restricting background data on Android device

This trick would be popular to old android gurus for those who don't know about limiting your background application to conserve data.


When I first bought an android Phone @2013 Tecno N3

I discovered that the phone zaps data and airtime like mad.

I almost swore with my life I wouldn't use an android device again lol.


Not until I began to access the device then I found out that there is a way we can limit background apps and shut it from zapping our data without the help of any android apps.

Background apps are applications that run and boot by them selves without the consent of the owner thereby consuming battery, airtime, data for the user.

Follow my steps to restrict background data.

=>>Toggle down your notification tab,

=>> Click on data usage

=>> If you have multi sim on your device simply select the one you have been browsing with or you wish to browse with

=>> Scroll down and see for yoyr self data being consumed by your apps.

=> click on an app scroll to bottom to stop or resist background data.


You are done, now the application would not use your data again without you giving it access.
