Cerberus anti-theft app is a great app. It works on rooted and unrooted phones. But it preferable to root your phone because some thrilling features embedded in it works on rooted devices. Here are the little features you at least know.

1. Cerberus anti theft has an amazing feature where you can track down your phone and control it like a voodoo.
In case your phone or device is stolen from you the app will display your phone's current IP address and how much battery it has left. This will help you figuring out how long you can track it until the battery dies.

You can also report the IP address to the authorities in case its got stolen.

2. While tracking down your phone the Cerberus won't show the thief directly that the phone is trying to be tracked down. But rather the GPS icon will appear in the top notification bar. This might raise eyebrows like this guy here but won't directly show that a tracking app is active.
