FG set to tax Nigerians 9% on Calls, Data, SMS, MMS
Nigerians are now set to face a new situation on board.
Despite the present situation in Nigeria FG are considering taxing Nigerians 9% on Data, MMS , SMS, calls etc.
Not considering most people find it hard to even recharging there line.
Bayo Shittu - the Minister of communication said this at the event;
The Federal government is considering a bill called the Communication Service Tax CST bill.
The tax will be billed to levy 9% on Telecom subscribers who uses text message, mms, call and data. This charge applies to Pay TV Stations. At an event organised by LCCI (Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry), the Minister insisted that the bill is subject to further deliberation, before it is vetted by the President.
Which means when we recharge our line, some portion goes to FG nawa o
