How to deactivate Mtn DND (Do not Disturb)

All network has established a method to stop receiving spam messages which is called DND

It has a bad effect because you won't be able to receive OTP messages, and some messages concerning your bank transaction details. And many more important information going on your line.


To remove or Deactivate Mtn DND


Text STOP to 2442 on your MTN line.

This will manually stop you from receiving unsolicited text messages on your MTN line.

After you receive confirmation message that you’ve been placed on Full DND,

then text ALLOW to 2442.

You will then receive another sms that the do-not-disturb service has been successfully deactivated for your number.
