Whatsapp adds Tagging/mention feature to its latest update

Whatsapp had added a great feature to there application which is The tagging/mentioning feature.

Which enables users to mention or tag there friends on a group chat.


How to tag users in a whatsapp group chat


This feature is currently in whatsapp beta

After that, enter a group chat and type "@" symbol without the quote.
Then choose participants from the contacts that will pop out or you can tag multiple contacts in a single message.
Note: It also works with contacts that you haven’t saved to your address book, but are part of the same group chat as you.


Meanwhile, we are still waiting for the video call function from whatsapp. And I hope the add the feature soon!
